My tattoo by Scott Campbell is guna be worth sooo much money

Scott Campbell's dollar bill sculptures are pretty breathtaking and well, just kind of nuts. Scott painstakingly draws on each dollar bill, measuring out every line meticulously. Then each bill is laser-cut and glued one on top of the other creating the sculptures you see here. NUTS. His first European solo show Always Almost There opens tomorrow at Lazarides Inc, in London.

cracks me up

The Ferrari P4/5 (officially known as the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina) is a "one-off" supercar made by Italian sports car manufacturer, Ferrari but redesigned by Pininfarina for James Glickenhaus. The car was an Ferrari Enzo but the owner James Glickenhaus preferred the styling of Ferrari's 1960s race cars, the P Series. The project cost Glickenhaus US$4 million but in an interview he said "I feel they gave me more than I expected".  It was first presented to the public on August 18, 2006 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elégance.

Enter Hotel Griffou

Things are rarely what they seem.

Take for instance, 21 W. 9th Street. By all accounts a quaint-looking apartment building on a quiet block just off Washington Square. But when you step past its unmarked blue awning and down a few steps, prepare yourself for a little shock and awe.

EnterHotel Griffou, a world of wonders filled with hidden chambers, parlor rooms,Lobster Thermidor Fondueand a few hanging fox hides—opening one week from today to host your wild private parties, covert dinner dates and sultry cocktailing. Below, your first tour of the lair...

A visit to Griffou (note: despite the name, bedding down is frowned upon), will whisk you into what seems like an underground version of the Clue mansion with gin instead of the lead pipe. The space is a collection of six connected rooms, each with its own personality—meaning, you'll need a plan.

Start in the large, dark, wood bedecked barroom where you can plot out your evening over a couple of old fashioneds. You'll have your pick of the Library—complete with musty portraits, old books, hunter green everywhere and candlelit wooden tables—or a small, dimly lit cave of a private dining room with a large 14-seat wooden table—if you're dining or drinking with a few discerning chaps.

If you're attempting to curry the favor of a culturally adventurous ladyfriend, tuck into the wildly pink-and-red Salon—dotted with unfinished paintings on easels and bench seating—or the Terrace, where skylights keep you somewhat connected to the world above.

Because remember, at some point you have to check out.

Grasshopper...IT IS NOW SUNTORY TIME

In God We.. Take over NYC.... Japan Beware

Friends and lovers of indie boutique In God We Trust (we can't help it, we're both), journeyed to Greenpoint Avenue last night to celebrate the opening of the store's fourth outpost with owner Shana Tabor and the whole IGWT crew. Revelers headed straight for one of the two bars in either the string-lit back patio or white-walled warehouse space, where bartenders were mixing Hendricks Gin cocktails and pouring Bear Flag wine, before drifting into the shop to peruse the wares. We couldn't help but grab a few birthday gifts (M&Co. watches! The Hill-Side ties!), and nabbed a pretty great gift bag filled with treats like IGWT jewelry, discounts to Greenpoint boutiques Alter and Hayden-Harnett, and a free bang trim—a necessity for most L-trainers—from The Parlour. Though it takes a lot of trust in God to take the G-train anywhere, the party proved worth the wait on the platform, and now that we have yet another reason to do a Greenpoint shop-crawl, we'll be making the trip more often…no faith in a higher power required!
