Fit But You Know It ft. Lady Sovereign and Other People

Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has created ‘Memory’, a chair for Italian company Moroso.

Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has created ‘Memory’, a chair for Italian company Moroso. The chair’s unique texture is owing to the fact that the fabric it’s made of includes recycled aluminum. Though we’ve seen ‘memory’ chairs like this before, the unique texture and aesthetic appeal of sitting in a ball of aluminum certainly makes this chair one of the most interesting pieces of furniture this year.

Das Science Center Medizintechni- Designed by Gnaedinger Architekten

Website: www.gnaedinger-architekten.de

This sleek and shiny new building is the Technology Center Medical Science (Das Science Center Medizintechnik), located in central Berlin between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate. If you feel that the building, designed by Gnädinger Architects, looks somewhat sterile and synthetic, the architects and owners would not feel offended. The building has two main functions — it is a corporate facility and a science center — but both have to do with human mobility, specifically walking and grasping, and bionics (technology modeled on nature). - from The Coolhunter

My tattoo by Scott Campbell is guna be worth sooo much money

Scott Campbell's dollar bill sculptures are pretty breathtaking and well, just kind of nuts. Scott painstakingly draws on each dollar bill, measuring out every line meticulously. Then each bill is laser-cut and glued one on top of the other creating the sculptures you see here. NUTS. His first European solo show Always Almost There opens tomorrow at Lazarides Inc, in London.
